Minipedia is an application that allows you to have the encyclopedia Wikipedia on the iPhone and consult at any time, even if there is no active internet connection.

The application supports multiple languages and is compatible with iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad. Minipedia offers access to the texts, the articles, but also to formulas, photos and tables present on Wikipedia. The only requirement is to download the entire database when connected via Wi-Fi. This procedure takes a few minutes and it will download the Wikipedia database on your device with the possibility of neglecting the less important items in order to does not occupy too much space.

Once the download is complete, with Minipedia, you can quickly search the available items, change the text size, create a screenshot to share on Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr or Mail or save it in Roll.

Although available for free, Minipedia provides the in-app purchase to download the database. Prices vary depending on the size choices: you have to pay for the complete database €4.99- €2.99 for the big one and the average €1.59.
