Today Dev-Team has released two new versions of redsn0w, a jailbreak tool for iOS. As we read on the official blog of the iPhone Dev-Team, with the second update of Redsn0w 0.9.11 was corrected an error (“Restore failed”) that some users notified during the process of restoring / downgrading.
In the next version of redsn0w, ever published in the day today, the Dev-Team has also added support for the tethered jailbreak for iPhone OS 5.1.1 on iPhone 3G, iPhone 4, iPod touch and third-and fourth-generation iPad (first generation) along with the ability to create custom firmware for this new version of system software. Recall that currently the jailbreak (tethered or untethered) iPhone 4S, iPad 2 and the new iPad 3 not yet been released.
